Today's drop features some more super rare shirts from the archive. All new in original packaging. We only have ONE of these. Ultra rare Jean-Michel Basquiat "Perishable" tshirt. Published by 2k/Gingham around 2001. Men's size small. New with tags - taken out of the original bag only to be photographed. Super super super rare object.
Prolific in the late 90s and early 2000s, 2k/Gingham was a Japanese tshirt maker who regularly commissioned well known artists to design limited edition shirts. They worked with a broad range of great artists, and the shirts were in high demand. High quality, 100% cotton.
The shirt will come in the original plastic bag. See detail photos of the artwork and the tag.
This shirt (and a forthcoming archive of many others) by 2k/Gingham has been in our climate controlled archive since 2001. Years ago, when Beautiful Losers was touring museums, we distributed 2k shirts that were designed by artists we were working with. We sold them to our retail partners as well as on our website. We wish we had kept more for the archive!!! We will be releasing more super rare shirts by other artists as well.
